Just a few pictures of all of the fun we had in October!
There will be NO school Wednesday Nov 23rd, Thursday Nov 24th, or Friday Nov. 25th. School will resume Monday, November 28th.
Awesome job on the cookie dough sales, the school made over 2,000 worth of a profit!
The first quarter Box Top have been sent in and the school received almost 400$ from this very easy fundraiser. Please continue sending them!
Continue to send in those Pennies (other coins and/or dollars) as well as new or gently used pajamas. Palmetto Place houses abused, neglected, and abandoned children from newborn to 17 years old so we welcome all sizes. The collection will continue until our very own school pajama day on Thursday, December 8th.
The next PVA meeting will be Wednesday, November 30th at 9:30 am.
The next teacher staff meeting will be December 15th, If you would like to make a special breakfast item for the teachers to enjoy during their meeting I will be sending out a e-mail soon for more details.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you enjoy lots of special time with your kiddos during the school break!

November News
Fall Festival was so much fun. Marcia Tipton (Dylan K5) did a wonderful job organizing everything. We appreciate each of the parents and grandparents who donated items as well as those of you who volunteered your time to help make this day so special for our kids. Please e-mail me (Angel O'Neal) a picture of your kiddos at the fall festival so that I can post them on the blog. www.asburymethodistpre@gmail.com
Cookie fundraiser was very successful. We raised $2,000 for our school through the cookie orders. Thank you Ali De La Cruz for the time that you spent on this project. Mrs Kathy's and Mrs Sherry's class were the top sellers and will be having a pizza party! Be on the look out for pick-up and distribution information for our cookies over the next couple of weeks.
What's happening in November?
Pennies for PJ's-
Every Year Asbury preschool and Kindergarten collects pennies to purchase pajamas for less fortunate children. We ask that you allow your children to do some simple chores at home in order to earn these pennies. The final day for pennies to be collected will be December 8th. We will also be collecting new and GENTLY used pajamas to be donated to Palmetto Place, a shelter that houses abused, abandoned, and neglected children.
Veteran's day is on November 11th. Dress your child in red, white, and blue and send in a picture to the school of a special service member.
5K Field trip on November 17.
Thanksgiving Feast (3's, 4's, and 5's) classes will be enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner together at school on Tuesday, November 22nd.
